I’m Holly, a dental recruitment specialist, registered dental therapist, practitioner mentor and former dental nurse. I built this business because I know what it feels like to need reliable support in surgery — and to be the agency worker who deserves some support herself.

My journey through dental nursing, dental therapy and agency work has shown me recruitment from both sides of the surgery door.
As a working clinician, I’ve been supported by agency staff who weren’t ready for the role, struggled with the job and showed little pride in their work. When that happens, it affects the whole day: the team carries the pressure, the clinician loses confidence in their support and the practice has to pick up the pieces.
As an agency worker, I’ve also been on the receiving end of unfriendly recruiters who offered little respect or support. In my experience, some seemed more interested in securing their fee than understanding who was filling the role or whether the placement was right for them.
Those experiences stayed with me. I know how much better a placement can be when someone takes the time to understand the people involved, sets clear expectations and supports them properly.
That’s why I built Holly Clark Clinical Recruitment. I want practices to feel confident in the person walking through their door — and candidates to feel valued before they ever get there.
I graduated from the University of Dundee in 2014 with a BSc in Oral Health Sciences. My background in dental nursing and my work as a dental therapist mean I understand the demands of a clinical day, the importance of dependable support and what it takes to work well as part of a dental team.
Through The Complications Consultant and my practitioner mentoring work, I’ve supported hundreds of practitioners. I bring that same approach to recruitment: listening, building confidence, setting expectations and giving honest guidance that helps people take pride in their work.
My recognition includes Aesthetics Mentoring Specialists of the Year 2024 and Best Medical/Aesthetic Injector Support Consultancy 2023. These awards recognise my work in aesthetics and practitioner support — experience that informs how I care for candidates and the practices they join.
Alongside my clinical and mentoring background, my supporting team brings recruitment knowledge and experience. Together, we bring 20 years of combined clinical and recruitment experience to the people and practices we support.
That means an understanding of both the realities of working in a dental practice and the care needed to make a placement work. My team supports the recruitment process, while my ethos of respect, clear communication and high standards remains at its heart.
